Crotonville

I spent the last couple weeks at the John F Welch Center (aka Crotonville) in Ossining, NY. It was a good week overall, and I learned a lot. Of course, I can't really divulge what I learned, as it is GE proprietary information. However, I can tell you the class was centered around Leadership skills. The picture above shows the fully stocked refrigerators that are at Crotonville, where we can go 24 hours a day to find things like Haagen Das Ice Cream, pizzas, cookies, sandwiches, etc. All free of charge (included in the price of the training). There were people there from all of GE's 6 businesses, so it was a great opportunity to learn more about the businesses that I don't interact with, like GE Consumer and Commercial Finance, and NBC/Universal.
