Bright Eyes in Asheville

Thursday night we went to see Bright Eyes in Asheville, N.C. This was our first trip to Asheville and we had a great time. Dinner at Tupelo Honey was great with shrimp and grits and sweet potato pancakes and tupelo honey ice cream. The place was hoppin -- we had to wait 25min to get a table. We got to the show in time to see both the opening acts -- Magic Numbers was so good we bought the CD and Feist was also a great show. Then Bright Eyes came on and also put on a great show. We've only listened to his latest album (I'm Wide Awake Its Morning), but he has tons of material from over the years that is all pretty good. Overall, a great night.
